You have to visit Gamla Stan, in this medieval historic center you will find the most charming streets in Europe. The city was founded there in 1252 and it is still the area where most of its attractions are concentrated. Its cobbled streets are pedestrianized, ideal for strolling among its charming colored buildings. The area is full of shops, cafes and restaurants, especially in its two main streets: Västerlånggatan and Österlånggatan. Walking around is a must do in Stockholm.

With the number of islands in Stockholm, it is highly recommended to see the city from a boat. There are countless tours of different durations.
